Stix ("we") is a research tool for NFL player prop bets, for adults 21 and over. This page explains what information Stix handles, why, and the choices you have. Questions: privacy@sharpstix.com.

Short version

• You can use the Board, Research, Results, Defense and Guide without an account.
• Stix records how its screens and buttons are used, under a random ID in your browser; if you sign in, that history is linked to your account.
• If you create an account to save picks, we store your email, your unit size, when you confirmed you're 21+, and your picks.
• We don't sell your information, show ads, or share your information for advertising.
• You can delete your account and all your picks at any time from the Picks tab.

Using Stix without an account

• Visit counts. We count visits with GoatCounter, which records which screens are opened along with general details such as browser type, screen width, language and country. It uses no cookies and doesn't store your IP address. These counts aren't linked to you or to any account.
• How Stix is used. Stix records which screens you open, how long you stay on each, and which buttons you tap (for example saving a pick, sharing, "Bet on FanDuel", filters, turning alerts on), along with your device type (for example iPhone or desktop). These records use a random ID stored in your browser and never include what you type. If you sign in on that browser, this history (including what was recorded before you signed in) is linked to your account. We use it to understand and improve Stix. Records are kept for 6 months, then deleted.
• Settings on your device. Stix saves some settings in your browser's storage on your device, such as filters and whether you've seen a pop-up. They stay on your device.
• Player photos load from the NFL's image servers, so your browser contacts them when a photo is shown.
• Alerts. If you turn on alerts, your browser gives us a push address (from Apple, Google, Mozilla or Microsoft, depending on your device) and keys needed to send you notifications. We store these without your name or email and use them only to send Stix alerts. Turning alerts off deletes them; we also delete addresses the push service tells us no longer work.
• Sportsbook buttons. "Bet on FanDuel" buttons open FanDuel's website or app. Stix doesn't send your information to FanDuel; FanDuel's own privacy policy applies there.

If you create an account

• Signing in. You sign in with your Google account. No password is stored by Stix. If you use Google, Google shares your email address, name and profile picture with our sign-in service; Stix uses only your email address.
• What we store: your email address; your unit size; the time you confirmed you're 21 or older; and each pick you make (player, stat, side, the line, odds and sportsbook shown, and when you made or changed it).
• Why: to sign you in, save your picks across devices, lock picks at kickoff, and show your record.
• How long: until you delete your account. Deleting your account (Picks tab → Account → Delete my account) permanently removes your email, profile, every pick and the usage history linked to your account.

Services we use

These companies process information for us so Stix can run:

• Supabase: sign-in and our database (accounts, picks, usage records, alert addresses).
• Google: "Continue with Google" sign-in, if you choose it.
• GitHub: hosts the Stix website (GitHub Pages) and runs our data updates.
• Cloudflare: our domain name (sharpstix.com).
• GoatCounter: anonymous visit counts, as described above.
• Apple, Google, Mozilla or Microsoft push services: deliver alerts if you turn them on.

We may also disclose information if required by law.

Your choices

• Delete your account and picks any time from the Picks tab.
• Turn alerts off any time from the Guide tab.
• Clear Stix's settings by clearing your browser's site data.
• For a copy of your data, or any other request, email privacy@sharpstix.com.

Age

Stix is for adults 21 and over and isn't meant for anyone younger. If you believe someone under 21 has created an account, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
